Nitobond SBR is a modified styrene butadiene rubber emulsion which is supplied as a ready to use white liquid. It is designed to improve the qualities of site-batched cementitious mortars and slurries. Being resistant to hydrolysis, it is ideal for internal and external applications in conjunction with cement.

Uses:

• For improving and bonding concrete repair mortars, cementitious floor toppings and screeds, waterproof renders and cementitious slurries. Cementitious mortars are alkaline in nature and will protect embedded steel reinforcement. Mortars produced with Nitobond SBR may be used for horizontal, vertical and overhead repair work.

Sika-101h is a cement based powder crystalline waterproofing system for concrete and mortar to prevent water infiltration or seepage of water in the area of low pressure of concrete structure or any cementitious substrate. Sika-101h forms slurry consistency when mixed with water. When it is applied to the concrete substrate, it works as pore blocker and forms insoluble crystals inside water bearing capillaries and seals against further seepage of water.

Product Details:

Nitocote  AP 35, a single component latex  acyrlic polymerbased emulsion is used for protecting steel reinforcement from  corrosion. It only needs to be mixed with cement at site to produce an easily  brushable coating.

Uses:

• Provides  passivating  protection  matrix  to  reinforcing  steel

• High adhesion - excellent bonding to all types of steel substrate.

Application instructions
Surface Preparation Any corroded steel in the repair area and all loose scale and corrosion deposits should be fully exposed. Steel should be cleaned to a bright condition paying particular attention to the back of exposed steel bars. Grit-blasting is recommended for this process. Where corrosion has occured due to the presence of chlorides, the steel should be high-pressure washed with clean water immediately after grit-blasting to remove corrosion products from pits and imperfections within its surface.
ApplicationThe application of Nitocote AP35 acrylic primer must take place as soon as possible to a dry steel surface after completion of the preparation work but always within 3 hours. One full and unbroken coat of Nitocote AP35 acrylic primer shall be applied by suitable brush making sure the surfacesof the steel are properly coated. A small brush is generally suitable for this purpose. It shall be allowed to dry fully before continuing. If in doubt of having achieved an unbroken coating,a second application should be made as soon as the first coat is fully dry (generally between 45 minutes and one hour) The application of concrete repair materials should proceedas soon as the Nitocote AP35 acrylic primer is fully dry ( generally 45 mins. to 1 hour ). Minimum application temperature for Nitocote AP35 acrylic primer is 100 C.

Equipment cleaningImmediately after use, all tools shall be washed with clean water.

PackagingNitocote AP35 acrylic primer is supplied in 1, 5 and 20 litre plastic containers.
CoverageApproximately 8 - 10 m2 / litre depending on substrate.
Storage
Shelf lifeNitocote AP35 acrylic primer has a shelf life of 6 months at 300 C. Nitocote AP35 acrylic primer should be protected from frost.
